Suzy Glass
Suzy Glass is an independent Producer and Cultural Consultant based in Scotland with more than fifteen years of experience working across the art, design and media sectors.
She is interested in emerging and unusual contexts, focussing on sited and digital work. She attempts to work where cultural practice, civil society and transformational change intersect.
As well as executive producing The New Real and a number of other artist-led projects, Suzy is currently delivering a Digital Pivot programme on behalf of Creative Scotland, supporting artists, makers and cultural organisations to reimagine how they create and connect with people.
Major projects include: Message from the Skies for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay (Underbelly, 2019), Ciara Phillips’ Every Woman (2016), co-commissioned by Edinburgh Art Festival and 14-18 NOW; Hanna Tuulikki’s Away with the Birds (2014), part of the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme.
Suzy has been involved in initiating, developing and implementing a number of national strategic programmes over the past five years. Within Scotland these include Sync, Scotland’s internationally-acclaimed digital innovation programme, and Sited+, a research programme addressing the impact and potential impact of sited work in Scotland. She was part of the Learning Team on the Nesta / ACE Digital R&D Fund for the Arts.
