William Mackaness

William Mackaness (Geoscience Advisor) is a senior lecturer in the School of GeoSciences at The University of Edinburgh. His research interests are in spatial cognition and the role of interactive maps in the construction of geographical knowledge and place. His research explores how immersive, location aware, mobile technologies can be harnessed in ways that provide meaningful information rather than just vast amounts of data.
